Galileo Connect Canberra
Overview
Canberra Technology City will be a purpose built data centre campus located South East of Canberra City and will be the southern hemisphere’s first purpose built data centre campus focused on reducing carbon emissions from data centres.
The site has been selected for its access to power and teleconnectivity infrastructure hence optimising the scalability of services to the site.
The development will comprise of fourteen 1,000m² data halls in a mixed configuration of buildings supported by three 14 megawatt gas turbines. The capturing of exhaust heat from the turbines is used to produce chilled water for the data hall services and delivers a data centre PUE of 1.31.
