Julian King, Chief Executive
Julian King is Managing Director of Galileo Connect bringing a wealth of experience from the data centre, real estate and business sectors.
Prior to joining Galileo Connect, Julian was Commercial Director of Global Switch, the leading operator of over 3 million sq ft of mission critical data centres in Europe and Asia Pacific where he had responsibility for the group's commercial and sales strategy.
Previously Julian had severed as European Managing Director of HQ Global Workplaces, one of the leading operators of serviced offices worldwide, where he was instrumental in returning the company to profitability and increasing its market share during the economic downturn of 2000.
Julian has also been involved in the development of Stockley Park, Europe's leading business park since 1986 where over 2million sq ft of offices have been completed and the company is developing a new speculative data centre of 150,000 sq ft. Earlier in his career he was a Board Director of a leading firm of property consultants specialising in the provision of real estate advice to worldwide corporates.
