GTM was established in 1987 as a mechanical & electrical installations company by a group of partners coming from the Engineering, Law and Business fields.
In 1994, GTM took over ARC, a construction company which brought new business lines to the group, broadening the scope of service to turn-key projects. At the same time, the company launched an ambitious expansion plan, both in Spain and foreign countries, which today cover seven domestic locations and five international locations.
As a result of its strategic plans, GTM soon became a reference point in the construction of Telecoms Centres and Data Centres, being the market leader in this field.
Among the several prizes and achievements, GTM did receive in 2000 the Annual Entrepreneurial Prize from Ernst & Young. Two years later, the Growth Plus index ranged GTM in the 19th position of the European Major Growth and Employment creation companies. In 2004, the Actualidad Economica magazine awarded GTM among the 100 best companies to work for in Spain.
Nowadays, GTM is one of the three main Spanish companies, and one of the top ten European companies in the construction of high technology buildings. Its proven track of competence and expertise are the most appreciated competence of its prestigious customer base.
During this time GTM has established alliances with leading international corporations such as Galileo Connect to develop and build data centres in South Central Asia with a main focus on the Indian market.
