Environmental Policy

We are committed to a programme of best practice in the context of environmental management, by way of continuous improvement and reporting of our direct and indirect impacts on the environment, which marks our contribution to improving the world in which we live.

We recognise that our business activities have direct and indirect impacts on the societies in which we operate. We endeavour to mange these in a responsible manner, believing that sound and demonstrable performance in relation to corporate social responsibility policies and practices is a fundamental part of today's business success.

Galileo Connect's environmental policy employs the use of best practice environmental principles and confirms the company's intentions to go further than current mandatory requirements on environmental matters in design, product selection, procurement and to exercise more environmentally friendly options whenever available and commercially viable.

Whilst in some instances, the environmental "Best Practice" solution may initially cost more than the alternative, in many cases the operational costs will be lower, coupled with a reduced environmental impact.

Our business activities throughout the world are committed to achievements of our policy objectives. Our performance will be periodically reviewed and externally verified to help us meet our policy goals. At a local level, the heads of our business review progress on a continual basis.

Our Energy and Sustainability division provide reference and advice on our own internal best practices and help formulate and shape the policy as well as ensuring that our knowledge and best practices are shared with our clientele. We aim to provide innovative building services solutions in an environmentally sustainable package. We have clearly demonstrated this with innovations including our high density CO_ cooling solution.
